A downfall of summer is the lack of warm drinks. Coffee and tea make me feel all kinds of cozy and safe, but in the summer a cup of tea will nearly leave me ridden with heat exhaustion. Every summer I look forward to the time in winter when I can finally drink endless cups of tea and decaf coffee at all hours. Warm, steaming mugs remind me of winters, holidays, and family. It's a memory that I can feel go straight through me to my core, warming me from the inside out. Leave it to me to be a woman in Florida with a tea collection bigger than most northerners. But I would like to be able to offer guests a taste of home, the warmth of memories. Can I take your coat? Can I show you around? Would you like some tea?
